Hesistation, fear, avoidance, delay, holding back, resisting dreams and goals. We all do it. If you trace back the reason for your resistance, you may find it correlates with a painful or shame-filled experience or memory.

If you find yourself embarrassed, ashamed, or feeling not perfect enough, please don't go into resistance mode as I did. I avoided speaking professionally for more than 20 years by staying busy and keeping my thoughts occupied with other issues.
It took a lot of courage to get back onto a stage again, but once I overcame that fear it was amazing!
Finally, I was again doing what I was meant to do.
