I'm SO OVER meditation shaming! That's when women say things like, "I meditate for 30 minutes each morning at 5 am", and then her friend says, "Well, I meditate for 20 minutes TWICE a day, seven days a week." A third person chimes in and says "I do guided meditations twice a week with a guru from India."
And everyone around them feels like a loser.
The truth is that forcing an active woman to silence her brain is like asking her not to breathe.
Quieting your mind, though, is a great tool. This practice has helped me to enjoy a HUGE boost in productivity. But quieting your mind is different than SILENCING your mind. If you have trouble with that, then STOP trying to force this.
Today I'm going to talk to you about something really important called ACTIVE Meditation and it's how smart women like you solve really important problems:
Will you give this a try? Let me know!
Hey, have you heard about my fall retreat?
